FRIENDSHIP: BEYOND TROLLS & TWINKS
Sat, 6/3, 6:30-l0:30 pm
Do you wonder why there is so little communication and friendship between younger & older men (and even between men who are the same age)?
Do you or your friends have trouble relating to men who are younger, older, or your own age?
This Saturday we will use guerilla theater games, story-telling, & heart-sharing to laugh at and look beyond our age stereotypes – to look at the true qualities and experiences of men of all ages. l3 men of diverse ages have already registered for this Saturday’s Playshop (23% under 30, but only 8% over 60). Would you be willing to help us expand the age diversity of this event by attending yourself, and by forwarding this invitation to men who might be interested, especially men under 30 or over 60?
When you have an intergenerational network of friends, you are able to adapt more effectively to the accelerating pace of change in modern life – you have access to both knowledge and wisdom from many perspectives and about many subjects. You have allies & mentors who are older, younger, and your own age. You also have a much clearer mirror in which to see who you were, who you are, and who you want to be.
Event co-sponsored by MenSpirit, a joint project of two non-profit organizations: Q-LAND & LoveTribe.
INFO: Peter at 503-223-8822 or trolls&twinks@qland.org
RSVP: www.lovetribe.org/menspirit
Thanks for forwarding this to any friends, acquaintances, or colleagues who might want to bridge the age divide and develop friendships based on truth, not stereotypes. And thanks for attending this amazing Playshop yourself.
